Like Father like son

Just thinking today that as of late I am becoming my Father. (Just so you all know my Dad is a great guy so that’s a good thing) However, what I am picking up might not be good. One of the most noted things about my dad is that you hardly see him without a coffee mug in his hand (I think both is sisters are big coffee drinkers too). I realized that over the past year I have taken up coffee drinking (out of necessity) and am up to about 3-5 cups a day. Top that off with the golfing fiasco I am well on my way to being a true Straley!

Oh and saw something in Math class today that just screamed Chris Rivers. It was a math equation on how to find the ideal seat in a theater even taking in the angle of the seats into account. If you want me to post it Chris I will and we will see if your formula for being in the ideal spot agrees with it. I guess the whole "personal preference" would overrule any equation... but it would still be cool to try.

Only 7 classes left and one final in my school life for this semester. Then we will wait and see if I can do what I didn’t do in High school math... by getting an "A".

One more thing, for those of you who have a pirated version of Microsoft office on your computer, want an alternative but cant afford the $300-$500 for the full version. Then go to Open Office 1.1.4! It’s a free program done by Sun Microsystems (makers of java) and it will handle all your word, excel, and even power point from office 97-XP! There is even a Beta of Open office 2.0 that will do most of what Office 2003 does and its still free! I love open source programs. So try it out and tell me what you think, or if you already have let me know anyway.

You and Gene can go to "Coffeeholics Anonymous" together. I'm not sure what he will do when they take the free coffee away...

Yes, please post it. I am pretty confident in my "good seat zone" so I will put it up against the mathematical test. Although, to be completely accurate, I will probably have to do a series of detailed measurements of all the theatres and people there already think I am a big geek as it is.

really though, a cup of coffee in hand is better then a Bag of Chocolate Covered Expresso beans in hand at all times =)

Chris, we'll just get a laser distance measuring device so it can be quick and even more geeky =)

The "Temp Post" won't let you post a comment. And the last picture won't open. How about a comment about what Lish was doing??

Oh, haha. Um, yeah. Blame Glen/Troy. I think Dave might want to explain it?

Dave, I'd like to pre-approve the pictures you're putting on your blog!
