A First Time For Everything Eh?

I figured I would die before this would happen to me. I had a dentist appointment today, because well... I have more unnatural parts to my teeth than I do natural. I have been to several a dentist in my day and every time I have been to one there has always been more to do. Over the past decade my medical coverage has been spotty at best, so when I do have coverage I go in and get at ton done... and I mean a ton. My personal best was getting 4 fillings in one sitting... that was not a fun day. So now that I work for interior health my dental coverage kicked in on the 1st of this month so I booked an appointment and prepared myself for the worst. It had been about 2 years since I had been in that all to familiar chair and was expecting to be there for a while... with many subsequent visits. After about 5 min of poking around my mouth, looking for holes I guess, he said that was it and I could go.

"What the deuce!" I exclaimed.

Apparently I have nothing that really need fixing... and I was free to go home. The only thing I needed to do was schedule a time for a cleaning... thats it. I'm still in shock I think.

Other than that my second week of working alone is going much better. I am semi keeping up with the calls coming in and things are going pretty well.

For now the only thing for me to do is make some dinner, play a game or two and maybe clean some. Yes mom I do clean. :P

I know you clean, your place looked great when we were there last. Congrats on the dentist visit, you should thank Dr. Feber when you see him next, he must have done a good job. And you are finally a real adult...cavities slow down as we get old, hopefully we learn to clean our teeth better, too!!
