Oh no, not another post.

Yes tis true I am back and in Canada once again. And the rumors about me being abducted by some terrorist group and taken to Pakistan were greatly exaggerated… it was only Iran… and you can hardly call a bunch of guys with paint-ball guns terrorists. More on that story later in the broadcast.
This might seem kind of morbid to some of you but its had me thinking for a while now so I am just going to post it and see what you all think. Heard a guy on the radio talking about when he hit 40 and was going through the mid-life stuff. He thought about if he would die who his pall bearers would be, as he put it “6-8 people that would drop anything to drop me”. He excluded family members because they have to be there anyway. But six people that would be willing to drop anything to be there when you need them. That got me thinking of just life in general, how many people do you know who you know beyond a doubt that would drop anything and come to your aid when you need them most. Just a really powerful picture of a true friend… and I thought I would share it with you. That is all.

Of bagby and hops.

Daniel and I woke up bored this morning so to pass the time today we decided to make some home brew. (The beer baron is back in town… and if you have not seen that simpsons episode then you must get on that) That?s right Daniel has his own home brew kit and from what I have been told makes a pretty fine brew. I still don?t really like the taste of beer so I kind of have to take other peoples word for it. There was a few iffy moments during the process and the whole works was kind of… well… lets just say I am surprised there was not more duct tape involved. Got some pictures of the whole event… speaking of which I am sorry about the huge pictures on the site. My laptop is sitting at 1600×1200 res and they didn?t look that big on here. : P

Then at night we had a small starcraft fest… ah good old starcraft. At least the latest version has a TCP/IP connect so you don?t have to use the IPX protocol like you used to. We didn?t do to bad but I think the computer kicked our butts several times.

Ill add pictures later… no time now.

My Dad would be proud.

So got to Daniels house at about 10:30 thursday night and stayed up till about 2 or 3 talking to him and his brothers. Then slept in… oh to sleep in… how I have missed you. After we awoke we went to the kettle for breakfast… that is the origin of the scrable. Very good food for breakfast…. mmmmmm. Anyway then we did something I have not done in years… I went golfing. Just so you all know golfing is one of my dads favorite past-times and the last time I went was YEARS ago. We first hit the emerald greens driving range to see how bad I was. Most at the beginning never made it 10 feet away from me, but by the end I was hitting quite a few of them pretty far. So we went and did 18 holes in Enumclaw and played a weird form of team golf. Basicly you have 4 people, on two teams of two, and you take the best shot of the two of you and drop the ball there. Its one way to make it faster if you have some bad players on your team. It was a lot of fun.

Then there was the port-a-poty… it had seen better days… and I had to go… badly. So being the adventerous type I decided to use the stupid thing. Dustin couldnt wait so he used the great out doors… and for some reason Daniel took a picture for the whole ordeal. It was an interesting day to say the least.

Finally…

Ok, so after much kicking of Darryl?s butt my mom is finally on kamloopscity.com. And for some reason the first day she was on there the site had their most visited day ever (over 12,000 hits that day alone). Not to bad for a site that does no advertising… short of my blog. :P

Anyway leaving tomorrow for Washington to visit Daniel, friends and family. However I will miss making the cool eggs at the rivers house. One of these days I am going to up and make a road trip to Dryden. That could be fun.

Then its back Sunday night so I can be at work first thing Monday morning. Oh what a weekend it will be. I will be taking my laptop down so hopefully Ill be able to post some stuff… maybe even a picture or two.

I have a test tomorrow in math that I have not really yet studied for so I should go tackle that. Hope you all have a great weekend, post what you all do so I can feel good and left out of where ever I am not. Not sure if that made sense to anyone but it did to me.

Math Time!

OK, was in class today and the teacher was using a computer with some graphing calc program and the thing really sucked. It could only do one graph at a time and you had to tell it what it should already know. (ex: 2x had to be typed 2*x) It was quite frustrating. So I went online and found this awesome FREE (not yeeaarrr matie free but actually free) program that does all that and more. It even does 3D graphs! So for all you math majors out there that are tired of the boring old B&W Texas Inst. grapher… try this baby out!

Umm go here
