Congrads Ben!
Apparently my friend Ben had another child and Caleb Alexander Smith is his name. I hope he and the Sarah are doing alright. You are getting a bit farther ahead of me in the family part that I expected. 
I am glad to hear things are going well for you.
I haven’t posted much lately… not really much has been happening here in the booming city of Vernon. This weekend I am going to try and get some snowboarding in before Christmas and then I will be spending that with my sister and her family. My parents are down in Washington with my grandma and the rest of the family.
Its a bit lonely here, I got a tree up but it is sitting undecorated… doing that alone just doesn’t seem right for some reason. Good thing its a fake one otherwise I don’t think I would have one at all.
I get several days off over the next couple of weeks. I get a 4 day weekend this weekend and a 3 day weekend next week, it will be nice to get away for a bit. Anyway I don’t really have much else to say so I will wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

Yes its true. I posted a post on my mothers birthday and I forgot to mention that it was in fact my mothers birthday.

For Future reference Lish’s Birthday was on the 2nd she turned 22, and my mom’s was on the 9th and she turned… 42.

Was Grace…. a boy?
Yes I know you are all shocked to hear that my once beloved bird Grace, may have in fact actually been a boy.
For those of you who don?t know I once had a bird named grace… it was named this because it had a gimpy leg and couldn?t move around very well. So we called it grace… short for graceful. So due to the coloring on the bird and what information we had at the time we figured that it was a girl. Female birds have much less color than the males and are usually quieter. However I have been seeing that in the old-folks homes I have been in they have a cockatiel in each one and from the coloring they looked like grace… so I thought… females. So I asked the Admin of one of the centers where they got all the female birds from, and she said it was a male. Apparently there are a few different types of Cockatiel and of that type the males are less… pardon my French, but “bitchy” is what the lady said.
The main thing that bugged us about my bird if it was female was that it never laid eggs… and even without a male around once in a while they do lay eggs. And she never did… which makes me think that I in fact got a male of this type of Cockatiel.
So that?s my story and that?s all I have to say about that.

Hey.
I’m bored.
Which usually means a more odd than normal post.
Not really sure what more odd then normal is just that I am normally not a very… well normal person… so when I say its going to be odd… well it could mean that its going to be very odd or normal.
Are you as confused as I am?
Because I am not confused at all… or at least thats what the other voices in my head tell me.
Tell me… would you name a restaurant “the Chinese Laundry” ?
I mean who wants to eat at a laundromat?
I only bring this up because there are 2 restaurant in Kelowna named The Chinese Laundry… so I am thinkin they must have good food because they are getting anyone by their name alone.
Oh and I saw that Burger King is serving a bacon and shrooms burger. And yes it said shrooms… I think every druggie from miles around will be eating at burger king this week.

Alright, alright, Ill post the pictures. :P
So you all want to see my empty apartment? There isnt much, and the pictures were taken last min so didnt get much of the apartment, just the living room and bathroom. Ill see if I can get more taken when my parents come back later this week. Hopefully it will look a little less bare too.
